Statia is named after the island of St. Eustatius, an island in the Carribean, and part of the island chain with Saba. Statia moved right into her new home and immediately became "Ani's puppy". She is an extremely "precocious" dog (that's the polite way to put it), able to steal anything off the counter, jump fences or gates and get into every and anything! However, she's an incredibly sweet, affectionate and confident dog. She loves nothing more than to snuggle with her pack or her humans. |
